Very nice Roley?

Where did you get that adjustable sidestand from?

A few additions to my bike for my trip down to DeathValley CA next month, via the Oregon coast.

Hand muffs (still winter up here) Ram mounts for my navigation,  usb cable to keep all my devices charged,  AND

A new Pirelli MT43 trials tire, which is massively tall and gears the bike up for lower rpm's on the hwy.

Now when people tell me to "get lost".     It's not possible.?

Hey Bucket,

Soupy's Performance

https://soupysperformance.com/drz-400-sm-adjustable-kickstand-side-stand.html

Its great quality and fits the need for adjustment between wheelsets - maybe in your case that tall trials tyre.

My winter project of modifying my 2001DRZ400E is coming along nicely. I've added inverted forks, SM wheels, and an S model rear sub-frame, but my favorite upgrade is the #motodashMD1 and LED light. The MOTOdash MD1 has a 12v socket, USB charging port / voltage gauge, RAM mount, toggle switches (wired to my new LED light) and ignition mount. I also added a black Acerbis plastic set. Now I need to figure out a graphics set to finish it off. If anyone is interested in the MOTOdash line of products, you can find them here in the dealer section or at drzrider.com

Thanks for looking!!

That is a sweet looking dash, I did make one up from aluminum plate for my buddies DR350 when restoring it, and yes next will be mine, with a few improvements for sure.

Nice,
Great scenery.
Nothing like that where I am.

Just curious, how much fuel are you carrying?

Gday Jersey. The safari tank holds 28 litres. Good for approximately 600 kms with stock carby and setup and depending on riding conditions. I'm no slouch on the throttle so I reckon does pretty good. Not sure what that works out to for gallons and mph. Cheers

just bought a set of tires for my drz, continental trail attack 2 in 90/90-21, and 140/80-18 and a new chain/sprocket set in 15/43.   planning on putting the bike 100% on the street for a while.   in three years time, i have been off road on this bike maybe 6 times?   not counting dirt roads.   so i figured to alter the bike for more highway riding.

15/41 would be better.

Tried on some yellow plastics today. I really like the look vs the white. Just need a yellow battery cover to come the set.
Here is a little before and after.20190127_150113.jpeg.d20cf1eaa0d8acc1d2245d5f98d882e0.jpeg20190127_145819.jpeg.ac6071733da2f060fff83b2e2e33096b.jpeg
I agree the white looks a little out of place. Some guys trim those side panel's, following the line of the rear fender down to the brake master. Looks better IMHO

I have looked at examples of the plastics trimmed and I dont care for the way it exposes the exhaust. My exhaust is too ugly to show off like that.
