batman1679 Posted January 25, 2008 what do you think of the green monster? looks like some good terrain to ride in, at least a little better than Michigan in the winter
Cold Snail Posted January 25, 2008 Here's my three. Bought as a project, but now in 100's of pieces. (It's too heavy off road). My usual ride (KLR600A1). And my supermoto project. The plan was to put the 650 engine in this 600, but I now have another 600 engine sitting next to me which can go in instead (once I've taken the top off and had a look inside). GSBill Posted January 25, 2008 what do you think of the green monster? looks like some good terrain to ride in, at least a little better than Michigan in the winter Arizona has lotsa good riding. I stick to mostly tame stuff with my KLR. Long dualsport type rides with a good mix of dirt and pavement. I have a DRZ for more aggressive rides. At ones that are aggressive to me! That picture is over at 4 Peaks Mountain. Met up with a few guys for a BBQ that day. The front of the car you see in the picture is a VW Jetta that punctured its oil pan on a rock. The driver was trying to get a tow truck back in there. All around love the KLR!

BikerDave Posted March 4, 2008 Ok, I'll play! This is my '91 KLR 650 that I converted to a "Supermo-tour"! Love the handling with the 17's and sticky rubber, plus it has the fuel capacity of a supertanker!! And this is my '02 KLR 650 that I set up for adventure touring the mountains here. Need some new pics of it, no longer has the supermoto fender and I've mounted a set of Givi E21 bags for some more carrying capacity.
