Out of the office - 4/7 - 4/10?

Had a leg operation last November and the incision did not heal....

Going to get it operated on by a plastic surgeon this Wednesday 2/20/08. Best guess 14 days in the hospital. They are supposed to have a wireless internet connection so might take the laptop.

Hopefully be well enough to go the Husky get together in late March!

For those of you that actually know what town I live in I'll be in the medical facility in that town, the one on the hill. Feel free to call the cell or come visit. Won't feel like seeing visitors or talking to anyone for the first couple of days though.

It took a lot of jumping through hoops but think I have it arranged it so Michael Lueders can get updates and post up the basics till I get a laptop going.

On one hand this is going to suck, but I did get a look at some of the nurses today

I know how the hospital feels and I am there with ya in spirit! Take your laptop and some MC DVDs too! That helped me through the darkest of days. Also the support of my Husky Bros! I will never forget that.

Sorry to hear. Hope your surgery went well today. 14 days is a long time to be laid up in the hospital but you can go here and watch some videos while your not watching the nurses.http://www.jonathanbelle.com/Index.htm

P.S. To prevent further healing complications ask the good looking nurse for a sponge bath at least every four hours.?

Spoke with Dean last night

Leg is ok, tendon is there although now smaller. They took some muscle from his stomach to graft to his shin/leg. Looks like they are moving him out of ICU soon.?

He seemed in good spirits..he's bored already, told him to pace himself as he is going to be there awhile, Doc's say 10-14 days.

He told me he will be back online soon.

The bugger is worried about all his friends at TT. He really appreciates the kind words and good thoughts. We should give him a big happy welcome back as he will be back online in a day or two when they move him out of ICU.?

I hope all goes well for you Dean. I need surgery on a finger that I broke on my left hand but I will wait until after the March ride before getting it done. Give yourself plenty of time to heal properly.

Dean is still in ICU as of this morning. They are looking at releasing him from ICU later today or tomorrow. Still no internet access for Dean.
