Chain comes out of adjustment

I have a ttr125 L. Just put a new chain and sprockets on. Factory sprockets and DID gold series non O-ring chain. It seems like after every ride I have to adjust the chain. What gives? I have never experienced this before. I have always ridden street bikes and never had this problem. Is there some initial stretch to this chain before it finds its happy spot? Right now there is only 3 - 1 hour rides on it.

There is always major intial "stretchin" (its not actually stretchin i just cant think of the term) but yea..you will do it a fair bit when u first install the chain and then periodically through out the year..but make sure u have it properly adjusted...not too tight and not too loose

Just as a reminder on how to check your chain slack: :)

1. Elevate the rear wheel (i.e. put the bike on a stand)

2. Check the slack in the center between the drive axle and rear wheel axle - you should have 1.4 to 2.0 inches. :applause:

2. Check the slack in the center between the drive axle and rear wheel axle - you should have 1.4 to 2.0 inches.

another way to check is 2-3 fingers at the rubber chain slider
