help?125 or a 250

well im looking to start racing never been on a 2 stroke but im looking to get one. im about 5'11 and 160 pounds i want something powerful for me but not to much so i cant handle it. i want to race moto-x just so ya know.

If you can control your right wrist, you can handle any bike. Go for the 250. I have a feeling if you get a 125, you'll eventually be looking for a bit more power, and the 250 resolves this. In my opinion 250's are easier to ride than 125's on the track.

A modern 125 is more than enough power,Especially if you haven't ridden one before.
