AC to DC Power?

Would switching the stock AC Regulator to a Full-Wave Bridge Regulator/Rectifier screw up the ignition system of the bike? I am in the process of dual sporting my 2001 XRR and want to put the Full-Wave Bridge Regulator/Rectifier to convert the power to DC instead of AC. Has anyone done this or have any info on this?




Ignition system should be separate, so you'll be fine
