draining oil on 150.

I cant find the oil drain bolt on my 05 150.

any help?

big fat bolt on the left front side of the engine.. a owners manual would have ur answer... but yea like i said... it needs a big wrench too, whatch out a spring and filter is gonna come out with it too

OH yes there is. If you don't have the spring and wire mesh screen, you have lost it then.

My 04' 230 has one, check your manual and see if it says anything about one.

it must not have it for the 08 since i have never seen that spring or that oil screen pop out from under the drain bolt.

My 04 150 has it, my 05 150 has it, my 06 230 has it. You my man evidently dont have it. Did you get it seconds? Even 03 has it, http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/honda-motorcycle-crf150f-2003/o/m2254 and for 3.00 bucks you can have it to.

06 through 08 do not have it on the 150. the 230 does. So lets just say the E-start bikes 150 only.

You got it. The E bike 150 is screenless

Its weird I just took a look through the manual and it says it has an engine oil strainer screen and an engine oil centrifugal filter so the screen is somewhere in there but it doesnt say where.

Its in one of the outer covers, not sure what side. It spins the oil onto a magnet that you can wipe off once a year. I'll look it up in my manual to be sure.

Yep, after yr. 05 page 3-15 Right side under outer case/cover plate actually two things, oil strainer in the bottom of the case and the centrifical filter strainer under three screws within the cover plate. Manuals are handy.
