Tips on adjusting the air bleed screw, (2 stroke)?

1980 ds80, small brass screw on the airbox side of the slide. I have searched but not sure how to set the 2 smoke air bleed screw. I'm (1 1/2) now. In from (2 1/2). A little better and overall good. Eddie, thank you for all of your quick replies and help you provide....steve

its opposite of a fuel screw.so if the air screw wants to be under 1 turn for best idle/response you need a bigger pilot jet.if it wants to be more than 2.5 turns you need a smaller pilot jet.
