Rear mudguard swap for 94 DR

OOFT !!!

I just got my supermoto'd DR out for the first time this year and had forgot how fkn mental it is !!!

Iv'e decided to get it on a diet and make it look as skinny as possible so the first thing is to get rid of all the stock shit on the back like the mudguard , pegs , rack and indicators.

Does anyone know of a cool lookin' rear fender which would slip on easy and would be available in the UK ?

also, what kinda difference does losing a tooth on the front sprocket make ?

....keep it sideways !

Hi, i fitted my 90 dr with ktm 660 smc bodywork,it all fitted with not too much bother had to drill a few holes here and there.Just add a tail tidy for the lights and reg plate.A drz rear fender can also be made to fit.I only went for the ktm stuff as it was cheap and plentiful on flea bay, only problem is it looks like a ktm.

also, what kinda difference does losing a tooth on the front sprocket make ?

Easier and quicker off the mark - good for traffic light brawling.

Easier on the clutch in a peak hour crawl - allows for lower speeds before slipping is necessary.

Better acceleration in top gear at highway speeds.

Makes 5th more usable.

Worth doing.

Cheers
