AMA/Maxxis MiniMoto SX Mania - Press Release

ANAHEIM, Calif. (April 2, 2008) “The Biggest MiniBike Race on the Planet” is just a couple weeks away and the buzz around Las Vegas has now turned into downright MiniMoto Mania! The AMA/Maxxis MiniMotoSX, held annually inside the Orleans Arena during the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Finals weekend, and considered by many to be “the best racing in Vegas,” has got both Sin City’s and the motorcycle racing industry’s attention.

To better spread the word about this world-renowned miniature-style motocross event, the organizers have utilized numerous promotional billboards strategically placed throughout Las Vegas. The fantastic looking billboards appear to be doing the trick, as this year’s ticket sales have been on a steady increase since going on sale several months ago. The MiniMotoSX has sold-out nearly every year of its 5-year existence so you better act quickly if you want to ensure that you will have a good seat for all of the action.

“We have put a lot of energy into continuing the growth of the MMSX,” declares Lance Bryson, Director of Sales and Marketing for Source Interlink Media. “With the resources of a media based company behind us we are all very excited about what the future holds for this event!”

The success of the MiniMotoSX is not entirely judged upon the number of tickets sold, but rather the very impressive number of participants that come in droves to be part of this family friendly event. With over 500 talented racers already registered to compete, the race is on track to shatter it’s previously held record for the total number of racers competing in a MiniBike race!

“My family and I have made the Maxxis MiniMotoSX an annual Vegas event!” says California native and avid motorcycle racer, Tod Sciaqua.

Sciaqua is not alone, as a quick glance at the entry statistics will show; racers from more than 20 states and 8 countries have already committed to being part of this year’s event! Impressive for a sporting event of any type, let alone a motorcycle race comprised primarily of adult riders racing miniature motorcycles!

Be sure to make plans today for this unbelievably entertaining and fun event… the 2008 AMA/Maxxis MiniMotoSX at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on May 2; the kick-off event of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Finals weekend! Tickets are going fast, log on or call today to get yours!
