Own 1/2 of a commercial metal subcontracting firm in Baltimore. We do insulated metal wall systems, commercial metal siding, ACM composite panels and metal canopies.

This is my first Husky and it's getting better with each ride, it really is a great bike. I lurk around this site a bunch. Some really big brains here and a wealth of Husky information that's been very helpful to me. I'm looking forward to meeting up with some of you on a Husky group ride one of these days.

Dentist

Graduated in 2000 and went straight into the Army to repay dental school scholarship. 1-year residency at Ft. Carson, three years in northern Bavaria at the Grafenwoehr Tranining Area with a seven-month detour to Iraq, then a year at Ft. Myer in northern Virginia. I decided to skip the next several promotion boards by separating and went immediately from Captian to General (Dentist) in private practice in S. Jersey.

The close proximity to the Pine Barrens awoke the latent enduro racer I always suspected was in there, and now I'm having a good time in the old, slow, fat-guy class otherwise known as Vet-C!

Hey, are you going to be at the Stumpjumper on Sunday? I'll be there and we're in the same class though for me it's the old, slow, cautious and out there to have fun skinny guy class:busted: C-Vet.

I'm a software engineer who also manages a team of software engineers.

i have a van service for the amish here in lancaster county ,pa. its kind of like a taxi business except we only drive the amish and only book in advance.

Not to sound like a dope but how do they book in advance if they can't use a phone?

I hope someone drives them around. Too many close calls in that area when I was driving down undulating country roads at 5 a.m. going to an Enduro and they are on their way to services with no lights in the buggies.

OK.....after 12 pages of reading........I am impressed.

I am a MAJ in the Army and have spent the last 18 years in the army. (Was enlisted for 9 before getting a commission...adding this so the flyboys in the thread think "18 years and he is just a MAJ.....what a dud!" LOL)

Travel the world to free the oppressed and spent the past few years working at a 2 way rifle range. Home getting better after some things connected. Totally phsyced I can still ride fast and looking foward to a good 08 season and trailriding with the NE Husky crew and the 08 NE Husky Gathering (shameless plug!)

On another note seeing all the occupations got me thinking about work after retiring from the Army.......was thinking porn star but......nah

Joe

PS saw Black Flag in 79.......I wish I was 18 again!!!!!!!!

Unix system admin and programmer, with a strong lean towards Open Source. Got my Computer Science degree in the mid '90s in San Luis Obispo, Calif. As a student I got a job at the local phone company doing Unix system administration and software development -- the Internet was just starting to become everybody's favorite new tool & toy back then. Graduated, moved to southern Calif, and started telecommuting to the company in SLO. Been telecommuting ever since, and now I work from home just south of Yosemite and work for a phone company/ISP in Hawaii. Do lots of programming to make tasks easier for other people, to automate things that would be hard or tedious otherwise. Latest fun adventures have involved doing VoIP (telephone over Internet) and I'm just starting to experiment with video phones.

I just bought my first Husqvarna about a month ago and I'm loving it. This has been a really fun thread to read. Lots of smart & motivated people on the Husky forum!
