This weather is flippin' nuts! Hail can be excused any time of year if the weather is right, but actual snow? We are never gonna get the high mountain trails opened up.

Time to crank up Clint Black's Summers Comin'!

Didn't you ever see Day After Tomorrow? Global warming causes ice ages.

Measured 5 1/2" on my deck last night in Mill Creek and it was snowing a little bit this morning but now it seems to be melting off.

I'm getting tired of this...

Got no snow here but it's darn cold. I keep bugging my wife that I'm gonna poach the Bainbridge Island parks trail system now that nobody is out hiking due to the "cold". It gets her riled every time.:ride:

about 6" Sat morning....

Power was out (branch drooped on power lines outside house and blew the transformer around 4am Sat)

Lynnwood is weird. :ride: Nothing much at all outside my East Lynnwood hill top. But it snowed steady big heavy fluffy snow flakes all friday night.

I had to finish packing my truck in the pitch black with my trusty LED headlamp lol.

It rained, snowed, hailed light, hailed supper heavy, was sunny and repeat all weekend at the WORCS races. It was wierd rip'n around and seeing what looked like rock salt bouncing off the ground in the trails. Then to get hit full blast on the mototrack. Good times. Could barely make out the next jump looking for racers.

But a week earlier it was in the 80's and dusty at WORCS (Auburn) Pic from the dirt bike weekend. Last weekend was quads.

Hi, all. DRZ-400S rider from Kodiak, AK here. I'll have a week to burn next week and just purchased ferry tickets to/from Homer so I can do a solo trip on the mainland. I know it's a little late in the season, but does anyone have any suggestions for places I can go?
Some places I've looked at:  East End Road (Homer), Crown Point Mine Trail (Kenai Peninsula), Hatcher Pass, McCarthy/Kennicott Mine, Chicken, Denali Hwy, etc.
I know it's a little late in the season, so some of these areas may not work (McCarthy/Kennicott comes to mind).  It will be my first time riding a motorcycle on mainland Alaska since 1999-2000.  Any suggestions/advice are greatly appreciated!

Anyone know of any good shops that offer vapor blasting or water blasting or vapor honing. It's all the same thing just different names.
Looking to have some aluminum street bike frames done so need a place that can handle larger pieces.
Some where close to Seattle east side Tacoma that you might recommend.
I found the motoshed in queen Anne but they can't do larger items.
