NGK CR8EB..... or what else?

Recommended Posts

This is my stock plug for TC250. Local bike shop only had a CR8E. So what does the "B" stand for?

And what is the iridium equivalent for this plug? Or other??

CR8EIX, the B has the fixed nipple on the end, so for the CR8E or the EIX etc, you`ll just need to get a screw on nipple - or change the end of the ignition lead

You can get a tip from another spark plug and screw it on a CR8E. But you cannot unscrew the tip from your old CR8EB cause it is not screwed on - no threads.

I find the 'B' plugs hard to get in the UK. so I changed the plug cap, as the original cap is crimped on to the lead you need to replace the lead as well.

It will just unscrew out of the coil under the fuel tank  this way you can fit any plug without the large nipple!
