AP Mod and KX450F

I just performed the AP mod on my carb by shaving the diaphragm rivet and installing a #78 o-ring on the linkage. Should I expect to change leak jets?

Stock is a 70 and I am currently running a 55 per team green recommendations.

I have also read the marketing literature on Merge Racing's stiffer AP spring. Is this a better method?

now that you shaved the rivet you will most liekly need a biggere leak jet.

there was really no need to alter the rivet.

the merge spring works well but requires more work to install.
