bogging and popping

at my race today my bike started bogging and popping so i pulled off cause it was badly scary.

I cleaned my airfilter when i got home and i also screwed my fuel screw in 1 turn and it sounds cleaner no bog. but when i shut the bike off it pops

whats going on?

From your avatar I'd say you're a fairly skilled rider, probably wouldn't forget the choke? Or would you?

Hot start stuck on?

Have you done anything to the bike lately that would cause a change?

no those are all working good.. the only thing ive done is play with the fuel screw
