sanding side of black rims

Recommended Posts

Long story short scratched the shit outa my black rims on my 08 crf450 from changing the tires. So I decided to do something I saw on here I think witdog or something like that did it to his kx250f. I started sanding with 220 grit and this stuff takes forever to come off If I did it by hand it would take me 2 days to do both rims. What can I use to easily sand off the black paint from the sides of my rims. As always thanks for helping me. I'll post some pics when I'm done. I'm installing arc levers, holeshot device, hammerhead shifter and case guard, timing plug covers, carbon fiber fork wraps and frame guards, renthal chain and sprockets, pro circuit throttle tube, sfb clutch cover, one ind white plastics with hart and huntington graphics, carbon fiber drd exhaust.

I've used these on powdercoat with pretty good results, just be careful, with anything that is aggressive enough to take off powdercoat quickly could also remove material from your wheel if you get too crazy with it.
