hot start plugger

my son,s 07 kx450f hot start plugger is stuck,can you guy,s give me some pointer,s on getting this thing out freed up it,s stuff pretty good.what kind of lupe would loosen this up if any.thank,s

this happens alot be patient with it put some wd40 in there an let it sit awhile,when i say a while i mean like a couple hours or even overnight. and try to free it up. you will probably need needle nose pliers to get it out, you can do a TT search on this there are a alot of threads.

penetrating oil is the best fix for this. I just read a article in MXA this month on how to fix this. Get a Alum hot start nut and replace the plastic nut ...it leaks and causes the plunger to lock up. Some are using Yami Hotstart cables as they tend to be better. Keep the cable lubed and keep moving the hotstart lever ....

I used WD40 also to loosen it up then cable lube to lube it. Try cleaning it out with compressed air also.The dirt gets in between the plunger and

it might take quite a bit of WD to free it.
