AP won't squirt !

I was trying to dial in the Accelorator Pump squirt and have discovered that the diaphragm of the AP is bone dry. This is indicating no fuel getting in there to be squirted. Has anyone else had this problem or could suggest a fix?

Your leak jet is probably clogged, un clog it.

clean all ur jets the whole carb then see what happens

Two passage ways to a AP. There is the leak jet and the check valve, both located in the float bowl. Both are probably clogged.

Used carb cleaner on both check valve and leak jet. Still no fuel through, but this is just a static fill of the bowl from the tank.

I read somewhere best way to prime AP is to run around the block. Would this help?

On another note tried to squirt some cab cleaner thru the carb up to the AP outlet in the venturi, nothin doing must be blocked.

Sounds like things are gunked up pretty good. It may be time to pull the carb, disassemble it and dip it. PITA, but it will clean things up.

I got the carb turned around so I could see the AP outlet face-on, where the fuel comes out. Combination of vinegar and a pin got the gunk out of the hole. Squirts about .5 second so will take out see how she feels.
