Coolant Leak at bleeder screw

Recommended Posts

A couple weeks ago, I had a hose clamp come loose and drain a bunch of coolant on my 400EXC. So, when I refilled it, I opened up the bleeder screw until no bubbles were in the coolant. Now, I've got a slow leak/weep of coolant at the screw. I tried not to overtighten it, cause I didn't want to chance stripping it.

Any suggestions? Is there supposed to be an o-ring/gasket or anything under the screw that I lost in the process? Does it have to be really tight?
