08 head on 06

I was wondering if i could put an 08 head on my 06...If so how much would it cost and where could i find one

Yes you can. Stuff the 08 head with all of the 08 stock valve components.

I would stick in the 08 cam if you have the money to - it will give you some better performance with the head setup.

I don't know price from the top of my head - just check an online parts fiche such as TT OEM store, Service honda, or motosport.

Make sure you get all of the parts you need

08 OEM head

08 intake and exh spring seats

08 Exh seal and intake seals

08 Exh valves and intake valves

08 exh springs and intake springs

08 exh cotters and retainers

08 intake cotters and retainers

08 Cam

I thought the 07 heads were better.

I know the 08 cams are better though...

the 07 are better imo

My 08 rips with the JE piston and MRD pipe. So something must be right.

If you are going with all stock components the 08 stuff is best.

But for a base head for porting the 07 is better.

thats what i ment:excuseme:

if u buy the assembly 08 head will you have to put it all together?

All the 08 head assy comes with is the head and valve guides - then you have to buy the valves, seals, springs, cotters, retainers, spring seats.

If you want a 08 head all assembled with some good valves contact Ron Hamp.

+ 1 on that:applause:

How would a 08 head and valves and springs work with a crower G2 Cam?
