My Thoughts/Idea

Recommended Posts

Okay, so I have a '93 XR650L. I have decided to make it a strickly road bike out of it. I have some awsome stuff planed for this winter, project "UrbanMoto". The bike will look nothing like it does now, hopeing to make it somewhat of a sportbike....

I am working on air intake right now, and here is my plan.

Replace carb (have one from a BMW possibly lined up).

Remove air tube and put a K&N Can Filter on in its place.

Relocate the XR650L battery and wiring to the air box location.

I have done some research and can't find anyone running a K&N Can on their BRP.... Any reason why not?

Thanks,

Cody

You don't have to use a pod (or K&N can) filter. You can relocate your battery and utilize the same airbox for your air filter. Heres the thread-
