Throwing my hat in the D/S world, well kinda.

Yes I have a Supermoto, this is my second and

regret selling my first in a way. At the same time I would

sell my first one again. Move on from this subtopic.

I love Supermotos!! The very first time I ever came across one I

loved it. Magoo in the early 80's winning the Superbikers

against Wise was great Motard action.

D/S Motards! Took out my latest for a real test to see what it will do.

06 400 DRZ, Distanzias front and back, 16 tooth counter and a carb

upgraded the the 39 FCR, 3x3, and some silencer work.?

I hit a little trails-two way, some Jeep roads, some dirt roads, some

twisty paved roads and just when I was about to assault Middlecreek

and then Cow I had some technical difficulties.:bonk:

The biggest drawback is braking in dirt, really poor results from the rear

and I overshot more then one turn:eek: The good thing I was able to do

whatever I wanted with in reason. I searched out some burned spots and

was asked very nicely to leave.

Some burned out land, turns out it was private, all fences and markers where gone.P7210010.jpg

The vegetation was already coming back!?

P7210021.jpg

Yeah I started out in Lake Co, went way East, then North, then West, then BANG!?

P7210023.jpg

Cool stuff to come across.

P7210024.jpg

I was heading to Bear Creek, not this time.:bonk:

P7210032.jpg

Temps dropped at the site of the Lake. Was really hot up in the forest.

P7210034.jpg

I had to come out a little early, seems I had something fall

off. I tied it back on.?

P7210042.jpg

Took a break at a winery, naww I don't drink.

P7210036.jpg

And I got 50 MPG at the same time.?

The SM is fun in the dirt, it handles like a snowboard fishtailing everywhere. But it floats over most everything due to those wide tires. It's difficult to give it direction with authority for the same reason, the front can't bite into anything even with Distanzias ?

Is that the winery at High Valley outside the Oaks?

West of the Oaks about 15 miles according to a sign. I am from the So. County. When are we riding?

The front did well with the exception of gravel as shown in your pic and silt. I never went down but oh so close from a front end wash out in the silt. I was able to slide the rear at will with total accuracy, fun stuff.
