Jetting for the Rockies

Im leaving in two weeks for Crested Butte. I posted this once before but that was before I was told I had a "R" head on my bike. How silly I didnt know this but, I didnt. I have an "R" cam also. My bike is a 04 250 "X"

I was wondering what jetting for CO.

One person was real nice and specific last time giving me the info, main, pilot and clip. Im hoping an "R" owner wll do the same.

Sun you should be really close with those settings that I gave you last time. The most I would adjust is the fuel screw as necessary.

What he said, the R head and cam shouldnt change your jetting at all.

I am leaving for the area next week and my 04X w R head and cam will be jetted 140 42 1.5 turns and the red needle on the 4th clip.

I would guess that a 140 would be good on a stock bike but with the air box opend up you migh creap up to a high 140's main to help out.

I am running a 150 at 5k and its perfect, but I wouldnt want to drop much lower.?
