ktm 250xcf vs 250xc valving differences

Recommended Posts

does anyone know or what the difference's in valving are on a 250 4 stroke vs a 250 2 stroke ( 08 ktm xc models)? im trying to get set up an ohlins ttx but only have specs for a 250 4 stroke and thought i could compare the stock valving settings to see what needed to be done for the 2 stroke. thanks.

lew is saying the exc 4 and 2 stroke have the same valving, the sx will be much stiffer.

anyone know the specs?

yes

at least for me it would be easier if you'd say, what exactly you are looking for.

TTX shock or TTX as fork cartridge?

First it was XC/XC-F now an SX as well, where there is a world of difference between those, SX is way, way stiffer

I'm sure there are 2 different stack but ,in earlier forks, I found different spacers, different springs and different stack in the same bike.

so, the first thing I do in WP forks is check those things...

yeah, all those new SX's are definitely too stiff for us average riders

imho it's more a pro setup for sandy conditions
