Assuming your bike is bone stock, this should get you started.

Yamakaze, the only problem I have with the 420 kit is that Ty Davis blew up more 420 kits on his 400 engines than I can count, trying to get more power (same with 450 kits on the 426 engines). Granted, he was probably doing other mods as well, but these bikes are wound pretty tight as it is. Do you have experience with this?

The overbore kits are very reliable for mere mortals. Ty's motors have a spacer plate under the cylinder. That means he has a heck of a lot more done to his motors than just a 2mm overbore. I've done a few 420 kits and every one has been stone reliable. My 450 hasn't been apart yet, either.
