Supercross GOAT Records

Recommended Posts

I was watching Washougal and Fro made a comment about RC's record book being basically as big as Moby Dick.

Which got me wondering if there is any official or definitive list of all of Ricky Carmichael's racing records. There has got to be a ton of them.

Anybody know where to go or have their own list?

Is there a record for "Most perfect seasons"? because he has 2 and Bubba will foreseeably challenge it over then next few years

Im honestly can say I miss watching RC! He was a Human Bull on a Dirt bike. He was never intimidated by anyone. I think theres another one on the way up called RV2!!!! There are way to many similatys to a T. RC has even said the same thing about him.

awesome. i always knew his list of titles was big too!

does anyone know where the actual "record book" is? or stats or whatever. you know, they have record stats for everything. most wins in rookie season, laps lead sx/mx. most DNFs in a season? that would be a cool one to find, not only for the rider but the manufacturer.

The sickest stat (to me anyway) is that he won every single outdoor title he ever went after.......for his career! Undefeated outdoors. That's pretty incredible. 🙂:D

bubba will not challenge rickys perfect season record.. simply due to bubba not racing nationals after this year... alot of rickys records cannot be beat by bubba.. rv2 on the other hand.. may have a chance..

sometimes i'll be watching a race on tv and they'll give some crazy info like..

"Honda could sweep 1st through 5th today. The last time a manufacturer swept the top 5 at a National was in 1983 when Suzuki riders did it at Unadilla."

that's not an actual stat btw, but i do know a decent amount about moto history and stats and i'm sittign here thinking, there's no way fro knows that crap off the top of his head. do they have a motocross almanac sitting next to them or something? where can i get one?

My guess is that they have a laptop with GOOGLE in front of them. Ralf has been spewing stats about races a lot lately.. interrupting Fro's tangents on how he used to ride and blah blah blah. It's pretty obvious that they got a new toy in the booth.

How about when he lapped the entire field at Millville in 06? Thats a record that will be hard to beat.

As it stands, right now, that is only a total BS rumor.

RC was the last person to win a supercross championship on a two-stroke (2005) and the first to win one on a four stroke (2006)..he truly is the GOAT

He also had a front flat in the last 5 laps or so

nope.. he has already signed with L&M for a SX only contract.. L&M are agains the outdoors for some reason.. and as long as hes on that team.. he will not be racing outdoors..

also its a known fact that NASCAR wants bubba.. and he has been spotted around the track and talkng to teams..
