cr125 spooge

Recommended Posts

Just picked up my 2004 cr125 the other day and went and rode at a friends. When I got home i realized all the spooge on the right side number plate <if you are sitting on it>. What should i do about this? I was also running 93 gas with hp2 mix 4 oz. to the gallon. Oh, and if i just run it and ride with it doing this will it damage the bike? Thanks.

Some spooge is okay. You can play with jetting as it may indicate somewhat rich condition. My brother's 250xc spooges some, but he has not fouled a plug in a year. My 200 xc-w doesn't spooge at all but I'm fouling up about once every three months. Go figure.

I noticed you honda guys run a very rich mix (4 oz to a gal= 128/4) That's 32:1. I've only owned KTM smokers and they recommend 50:1. Is it necessary to run CR's so rich??? Just curious.
