2001 cr250 wrist pin bearing loose

I just put together my 01 cr250 and when I put the new wristpin bearing in i noticed it was not completly tight. if i put it in my rod i could move it ever so slightly i mean just a tiny biy. sorry for such a scientific description. but when I put the piston and wrist pin on everything was tight i could not move the piston at all on the rod is this ok or am I going to trash my new top end

You're ok. you need to put the wristpin in the bearing to check it. The pin takes up the slack/ clearance.
