A few pics from Saturday

Recommended Posts

Me and my wife Kerry went to our track and she took a few pics.

This first one is of a new jump that I built. It is 50 to 55ft double. I have not jumped it yet, If the rain holds off I will do it today.

The rest are other jumps.

Nice pics. The one day of no rain! Today's not looking so great for weather. I haven't even looked at my track yet. I'm sure it's a slop hole after all the rain we got last night.

SICK BIKE! What kind of clamps are those? Do u have modded suspension?

Thanks, the clamps are Ride Engineering 22MM offset, and the suspension is stock for now.

It looks like the face of the landing is bigger than the actual landing side?...

The pics don't really do it justice. Standing on the lip it looks big, maybe because of the deep chasm between the take-off and landing! You don't want to come up short (well, I don't anyway). It actually doesn't look like it would be that bad, but the run up is a bit rough. I think Kyle said he measured it to be about 52-57 feet from the lip to the "sweet spot" of the landing. To me jumps where you can't see the landing until you're in the air are always the hardest to jump for the first time. This one is that way.

I'm thinking third gear fairly hard on my CR250, but I am not all that amped to jump it. I haven't lived this long to throw it away on a jump! :worthy: I haven't even rolled it yet, so I'm not sure how it "looks" coming up to it on the bike. I've been riding the chicken strip to the left! 🙂 We are riding either at Kyle's or my place later today. If we ride up there I'll try to peer pressure Kyle into jumping it. Hey, he built it, he can jump it! :D

He has nice blue wheels for it, too. It runs as good as it looks, too. I rode it BEFORE the big bore kit and it ripped. He takes really good care of his bikes, too. Makes me look bad!

Kyle, I thought you had sent the suspension out last winter? Or was that the CR?
