can i spray paint the motor? or is it aluminum? figured a nice gun metal would do the trick.

dont do it,

it might look good at first, but it will start to peel off and look like a zebra with aerosol can paint,

if you want the motor painted i suggest you get a base paint that attaches to aluminium and start from that, then paint it with a 2-comp paint that can handle a bit of heat, preferably you leave it to someone who does this for a living, it will hold up and make your bike shine for a long time.. just my 2c

i beleive you can dye plastics, i know how to dye the tank. but regular plastics are only 120 bucks why not just go new?
