Stage 1 provides more torque in the lower middle of the RPM range, about 2 hp above stock from 5,000 to 10,000 rpm. Stage 2 is all racer, upper end of rpm range, 9,000 to 13,000. We put the stage 1 exhaust on our 02 bike and it makes starts a 1 kick affair now. It is noticably more torquie than my 03 stock bike. To me, its more fun to ride in the rpm range where the torque is building. I like feeling is push me back on the seat, raising the front wheel, and generally coming on the cam.

I liked stage 2, open the throttle, it pulls you back, keeps pulling to the limiter, shift, and it keeps pulling

stage 1 will take away alot of strait line speed, but stage 2 will take away of alot of low speed technical riding
