clutch help

yo. so, i have an 03 cr125r, and my clutch is engaging really far out. i barely have to pull the lever to disengage it. how do i go about adjusting this so it engages more towards the bar?

Put more play in the lever by adjust the cable at the perch. ?

alright. so i want to add some slack to the cable, and dial the barrel adjuster closer to the perch?

Yo.

As your clutch wears, the engagement point moves farther out. There's an adjustment at the lever to lengthen the effective cable as the plates wear. If it's turned all the way in, you're looking at new clutch plates.
