CR 125 R 2005 - Showa or KYB

Recommended Posts

I sold yesterday my CR 250 R 2004. Now, I picked up this bike for about 4-5 days. Its cost me about 4300 USD (3000 Euro) here in Croatia. It is the only one CR 125 02-07 in Croata. It is model 2005, but the bike is buyed new at summer 2007. CR is in the great condision, it have less than 20 hours, never riding on the track, the piston is never changing, everything on that bike is original (except black rims, black number plates).

The question is, that bike SHOWA or KYB Forks? :):D

Lots of seat wear for 20 hours.

I wouldnt say so, it looks a clean bike and if I remember rightly they are original sprockets. My '07 450 had a brand new cover when I bought it, and I have just take it off looking the same or worse than that after probably less than 20 hrs. Doesn't take much riding in wet sand to rub that writing off!

On that 125 are original sprockets an chain, all bike is in original condition except black wheels and Progrip 790 gripers.

One question: How much cost me a PC Works pipe and R304 silencer, and what I get with that exhaust combination? Any sugestions?

I have 450 07, too.

This is engine cover after 20 hours.

"Our test riders collectively agree that the Honda’s Showa legs, in stock form, are the plushest of them all."

W T F? Showa or KYB?

Well, I'd have to believe Honda over 'Auner', whomever they are. Maybe they were talking about the Showas on the CR250? Here - I even found Euro specs version for you:

I dont want HGS. HGS I can buy in Auner (Austria).199 Euro for pipe & 109 euro for silencer (cca 450 USD).

I want only Pro Circut Works or maybe FMF, if I couldnt get PC in Europe.
