another jetting question,,,

I just completed the 3x3 mod and installed a dynojet jetting kit and k&n on my 2007 drz , the instructions in the dynojet kit called for a 136 jet, i found a previous thread that states at my altitude with a 3x3 and stock exhaust i should be running 140 jet. my bike came stock with a 142.5. i ran it up and down the street several times with the 142.5 and the spark plug seems to show decent burn, just want to get some other opinions as it didnt make sense to put a smaller jet in with more air going through. I thought the rule of thumb was more air more fuel. Anybody ?//?

The DJ needle is what makes the difference. More taper than stock. You should be fine with the 142.5 jet.
