So Colton Facciotti is the man. The guy looks like he's hardly moving and not even trying, yet he is pulling away from everyone at a ridiculous rate. Well deserved 1-1 sweep and MX1 title!

Dusty Klatt had a tough day. He nailed the start in moto 1, ran up front for a couple of laps, then lost it somewhere and seemed to injure his foot some more. He was outside the points and came back to finish 11th on a track that was tough to make passes. He started in about 8th in moto 2, and eventually found himself in 5th after a few riders went down. He didn't look like Dusty at all, he was struggling big time. He eventually worked his way past Liam O Farrel for 4th, but Liam got him back on the last lap. His 11-5 was good for 5th on the day, and 2nd in the championship.

Tyler Medaglia looked fast, but had nothing for Colt. He was about equal on speed with Blair Morgan, but wasn't able to hold the veteran off in moto 1. In moto 2 it looked like a repeat until he went down somewhere in the back and presumably knocked himself out. Tough break for Tyler, 2 tough crashes in as many weeks.

Jeff Gibson is puzzling. Gets good starts and sinks like a rock. Not sure why.

JSR looked good, got a bad start in moto 1 and worked his way up to 7th, just ahead of a large pack of riders including O Farrel and Klatt. Turns out he was riding with a sore ankle sustained in practice and decided to park it for moto 2.

Blair Morgan is incredible. He seems to get faster every year, even now as he gets older. He had some of the best lines on the track and was charging every lap. His 2-2 was WELL deserved.

Kyle Keast was killing it. Came from way back in moto 1, got up front, crashed, then came back again. Moto 2 was the same, only this time his bike was smoking. Then he just disappeared. I'm guessing his bike expired.

Kyle Beaton rode his ass off. Holeshot moto 1, battles with Wilson, then began to pull away. Eventually Wilson started to close the gap and pulled a nice pass on the last lap to take the win, but Beets 2nd place was strong. Moto 2 looked solid, running in 3rd about halfway then disappeared. Apparently blew the engine. Another tough break for the mxforum hero.

Simon Homans needs a factory ride next year. He rode his tail off and his 3rd overall was a nice surprise.

Jeremy Medaglia looked smooth in moto 1, but didn't quite have the raw speed of Beaton or Wilson. Well, someone must have told him, because he came out in moto 2 at warp speed and pulled a MASSIVE gap. He was wide open everywhere. His 3-1 overall victory was an inspiring performance.

Dean Wilson debuted with a splash. He proved he has the speed and is only going to get faster and stronger and smarter. His 2nd moto charge from last was impressive, especially with it being a little tough to pass.

Eric Nye rode solid to the MX2 title and was running well in moto 2. Teddy Maier was also solid in both motos, claiming 2nd on the day and 3rd in the series behind Nye and Beaton.
