cat5 motor craddle kit?

Recommended Posts

near the back of your motor, on the frame, there are 4 holes that are drilled from the factory. what the cradle mount does is bolts to the frame via the bottom two holes in the frame, and connects your frame to you footpeg mounts. if you have stripped out any footpeg mount bolts, and a heli (sp?) coil one work, then this is what i would consider to be the best option. i have heard of people using the cradle and only one footpeg bolt. if you arnt planning on doing any jumping, you could get bye with just buying longer footpeg bolts, but if you are more on the heavy sid and want to hit jumps, then i would say it is a great preventative measure

Definitely worth the money to prevent the pegs from ripping out of the cases. We had 2 stripped peg bolts and mounted the CAT5 and that thing is bullet proof.

The rear bolts mount to you frame and the front two mount to the rear peg mount holes giving the peg mount an additional mounting point on the frame rather than just the motor cases.
