clean out a pipe?

my kx 125's exhaust is just caked with carbon, how do i clean it up good?

To clean it, you will need a propane(or equivalent) torch, a small wire brush, and a small sandblaster. You must heat the pipe up very hot and burn all the oil out of the pipe and cook the carbon deposits with the torch. Do this outside and be very careful. After that is complete, the carbon should flake off, and you use the sand blaster to knock the deposits off that are inside.

I've used brake cleaner and a wire brush before. I also use a torch. haha sometimes you get a shock when the brake cleaner doesn't fully evaporate and you hit it with the torch.

I hope you're not talking about the same "cleaning out the pipe" as Ben Stiller in "something about mary". You probably aren't, but if you are, those other methods seem to be a little harsh and painful.

You could probably find some "Carbon-Off" stuff, and use a wire brush. I've found various chemicals around the house that work well. Just do some experimenting.
