I agree. I love seeing older bikes restored...it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I restored an 83 YZ80 over the winter, and it was a lot of fun...plus right after I finished it, some guy offered me 3 times what I put into it because he always wanted one as a kid, and had to have it for his daughter...

i like it when people make theire bikes look like stock again

its looks good now but i think u shoulda left the purple fork legs and the seat cover. TOTALLY RAD BRAH

sweet bike. i like the after (stock) picture better. i used to have an 83 yz 250 but im in Canada and our yzs back then were red and white.

Blackhorse, only brewed in Newfoundland and Labrador :):D

How much did the whole resto cost you? Also, you should really look into getting retro gear for when you ride that thing. That would be the icing on the cake!

it costs me about 2000$ here in israel but i balive in the us it is much less.

what is a retro gear?

Wow brings back some memories, the 83 YZ125 was the first bike I owned as a kid. I remember it really lacking in the power department, had zero bottom/mid power and even the top end was not all that great. Love the old retro yellow/black color scheme, in 84 the USA version went away from the black shrouds and it did not look as good IMO.
