This could have gone wrong... Baja Vid

Recommended Posts

This is probably a little off topic, but since it's Baja... and Baja racing...

It could have gone ALL wrong. Scary side-line stuff. :D

... and one reason I won't buy 'Wicked Gravity Videos' - watch until very end;

:)

Yup, the 16 stitches under my chin are evidence of how bad that stuff can be. :D

Is the second vid from a MDR race out at Plaster?...there was a little infield section by the S/F.....last year I think.

You weren't the FireFighter who had the tore up chin at RM305 during pre-running were you!? (came riding up to a few people, locals and riders/racers with a bleeding chin and helmet wrapped on the arm) ... the other rider was a racer (on a KTM), who you would have been pre-running with. Got sewn up locally in El Rosario?!?!

No, I chase aliens for a living. This happened out near Plaster City, south of I-8 near Dunaway Rd. Doing about 35-40ish on a quad in the open desert and I came up on an area that was agricultural many, many moons ago. Luckly the wire was not strung across two fence posts, it was just hanging off of one. Never saw it coming......if I would've been on my dirt bike it would'v been an instant tummy tuck. :)

Yup... I think your right... and was from LA or more North... Man, saw him the day it happened, and the day after (sewn up)... he wasn't looking too good, but overall... could have been worse I guess.
