RMZ450 & DRZ400,are the engines basically the same

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know if the RMZ450 & DRZ 400 engines are basically the same. What I am trying to figure out, is whether or not a RMZ450 top end (cylinder head & cams, etc.) can be put onto a DRZ 400 engine. Anybody have an idea?

I've only seen a small picture of the RMZ450 and read the basic engine specs from suzuki GB (never seen the actual bike, or close up of the engine). Thanks for the extremely fast replies, much appreciated.
