Should i be worried

Yesterday i could not get my bike started with the kick starter so i pulled my plug to check it and found this:confused: .

IMHO it must of broken off. Not enough wear on the electrode for the ground to be totally worn off. Also, if it burned off, you would of had starting problems long ago...

Time for a disassembly:(

did you put anew plug in yet and start the bike?

Yes i put a new one in after i found this and it started right up. I had no problems starting it before yesterday.

I really hope that little shunk of steel found it's way out the exhoust the last time you ware riding it

other wise it is time to install the 435cc big bore kit

if its running fine and no smoke i wouldnt worry about it.its long gone and you got lucky.

how many miles was the plug installed for?

Its the stock plug with about 3k miles.

Is it possible it was made that way? One slipped through inspection maybe?

Did you ever take the plug out and look at it before now?

Looks like the plug might have been loose. Looks like carbon on the threads and washer.

Your absolutely right. I put the plug socket on and twisted it off by hand.

No... First time pulling the plug.
