Wifes XT250 fork oil

Recommended Posts

:D I changed the fork oil in my ttr250, the original oil was black and thick with silver and gold bits in it. I flushed it out, re lubed the seals and put new oil in. The improvement is huge, even with my limited rideing ability the feel of the bike is much better.

:) Now I have to do the wifes yamahaXT250. So can someone please tell me the method I should follow.

The TTR250 was easy, the XT looks simple but I can`t find my way in.

:) Thanks Mate, I had a look at an exploded view, and then a closer look at the strut. No nut, only a small wire ring retaining a plug with no means of turning. I will have a look inside today, and we will see what we will see. Should be easy from here.

if it has a wire ring, pop that out using a sharp flat blade, then the plug should come out.
