rounded nut..need help

that sucks, ive had to cut rusty manifold nuts off at work

im chisling it might actually bend the stud..so im gonna purchase a high tensile cut off wheel and cut into the nut..

I would try an air hammer with a dulled chisel bit in it, right in the groove that you have already made. Or if you don't have access to one use a dulled cold chisel, it will move it instead of cutting it, just dull it slightly on a grinder or with a file. jeff

i already got it off...i just used a rotary tool with a high tensile cutting wheel i just cut into it to weaken and then chiseled it off
