Jetting for my KTM 450

Recommended Posts

I would really appreciate help with my jetting.

1) 2003 KTM 450sx

2) Riding between 6,000-9,000 feet asl.

3) Bone Stock, except for spark arrestor on stock pipe.

4) Current Jetting: Pilot #42, Main #180, Clip Pos. 3rd from top.

5) Bike runs decent, idles, revs, However, the reason for this post is to find out if I am running the bike rich, lean, or just right.

6) Forgive me for not having detail on the operating conditions. Im simply looking for thumbs up or down on my current jetting. Want to keep from burning up my engine. Like I said the bike does start and run fine.

Thanks,

Scott
