86 Husky

Recommended Posts

I have an '86 125wrk it runs but i can't ride it :) because in order to go in first i have to run next to it and get it going then when i try to shift it bogs out?!! I have taken the carb apart (actually someone with more carb knowledge than I did it) and cleaned it. It hasn't gunked up when it does this but i'm wondering what it could be, I am not that mechanical but im definetly willing to try if you have the patience!!! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi , and welcome to TT.

I take it your bike is a Cagiva engined bike ( with chain on Right Hand side, look up Cagiva wmx 125 on bike pics.)

I had one of these for 21 years..

very durable bikes - if you treat them o.k.

Right ; when you say it runs o.k., does is kickstart ok , or do you need to push-start it?

when it runs , will it idle or do you have to keep the rev's -up?

If it kickstarts o.k. it is not too far out , if you need a push-start then there are more set-up issues.

try and describe how it runs a little better, then we can all try and help you,

Charlie
