My DR200SE lost 5 Lbs. Today.

Recommended Posts

After countless hours of looking for a new muffler for my DR200 I finally came across something I liked.

This thing weighs a little over 2 lbs with new packing.

These are pictures of it temporarily installed. This friday I am getting the connection closed up with a TIG welded tube and should provide a better look and a sturdier install.

Please excuse the crappy F1r sticker.

I believe the muffler is from the right side of a Seca II.

Its not a spark arrestor. I will be seeking spark arrestor and a silencer end cap soon.

So how does it sound? Mean!

Heres a vid...turn your sound down, the muffler was too much for my little camera.http://media.putfile.com/Temporarily-Installed-Muffler

You might have to hit refresh, putfile is acting up.

Oh yeah...after a jet kit, muffler, and practically a new head....still has the same power as my scooter. Dang this has no power, but I still love it.

Turned out nice. Sounds mor manly than my stock mufflered 650 does! I had a pair of those on my 97 Eliminator 600. Was the only muffler available for the bike. They held up well but it was a street bike. Nice work.

Oh, I remember that sound! I had a pair of those

on my 85 Honda Nighthawk S back in 85. When

it was pulling hard a friend of mine said it souned

like a Cement truck going up a hill.

Sounds good on the 200, good to see it up and

running again.

Regards Sonny
