Does anyone know if the '08 models have these?? I don't recall seeing one on mine.. Also, magnetically charged drain plugs work GREAT- an old idea, really- but you'd be amazed at what they catch that all the filters in the world seem to miss. Anyone know a manufacturer of these drain plugs for the BRP??

All 650Ls have a frame filter. I think all of the XL/XR600s do also.

There are various retailers that sell magnetic drain plugs for bikes, but some of them actually made out of aluminum for some weird reason(XR's Only, for one). However, they are standard metric automotive sizes and you can usually find steel plugs at local parts stores.

I always thought the crap that gets caught in those screens was clutch fibers. I guess cam chain sliders might sluff off some crap too.
