whats it worth?

Recommended Posts

i think i posted a thread about this a while back or maybe just thought about it...but here it goes because i dont remember

2004 yz250f

freshly repacked big gun quiet pipe

new tusk clutch and springs

new sunline clutch lever and perch

renthal twinwall bars

new clutch cable

blue pro wheel rims

heavy duty spokes

michelin m12 & s12 like new

renegade suspension (oil still good)

newer wheel and steering bearings

everything is in great shape(chain, sprockets, bearings....exc.)

twin air filter

oil and filter cleaned and changed regularly

no shroud graphics is the only setback

what do you think it is worth? also what is the best way to list something?

ex: but it in the add for $200 more than you want and put o.b.o next to it

or put firm next to what you want for it?

For an 04 I'd say $2600 is about as high as you could get for it. I sold my 04 with 25 hours on it with a lot of aftermarket goodies for $2700, and that was 3 years ago.

the wise-acre but true answer is that it's worth what someone else is actually willing to pay for it......

check your local cycle trader etc......see what people are listing similar bikes for.....that'll give you a gauge.....

once you decide to list it......whether you should be willing to negotiate or not depends on how many calls you get on the bike.......although just because you get say 5 calls......doesnt mean you'll get 5 people coming to look at it.......
