Name that part

Took the bash plate off my XR600R this evening and found this in there. Any ideas what it is? It's about an inch across the bottom.

That, if I'm not mistaken, is a shock proof carry case for a chunk of Toblerone

Looks like the missing foot on my table saw. No joke, I have been wondering where that went.

You want us to name that part, right? Do you mean like a part number from a Catalog, or like Lewis and Clark named mountains and rivers in their great exploration of the American West?

I can't help with a catalog number, but if this is about new discoveries, I name that part

"Metchigamayama" or Japanese for "Missing Table Saw Foot"

Looks like a widget that someone stuffed in there to stop the plate from rattling/vibrating or the missing table saw foot!!!!!

That is a Black Thing-a-ma-doddle, very rare, somtimes found under skidplates or work benches.

I know exactly what that is ... it's a scaddledabindlerotor ... you know ... the thing connected to the sludge pump!!!

I had one of them fall off my 650L the other day, and the damned thing wouldn't get-up-n-go after that. :worthy:👍
