Manual Cam Chain Tensioner!

Recommended Posts

When you have a manual tensioner, do you have to check tension all the time, and if there so much better why don't come oem? I'm not doughting anyones insight, I just don't want to mess things up. How do you know the correct tension? Thanks

They don't come stock because the general public would probably have to take the bike in to the dealer when it started making noise! Some people are just stupid:banghead:

They use a similar or the same tensioner on the street bikes.

what i do is rotate the crank using the right side crank inspection hole and a 8mm allen socket.......while i am turning it i run the tensioner in by finger taking up the slack as i am rotating...........when it's all taken up i back it off approx 1/4 turn......locker down.....all is well
